HISTORY

In 1941, District Attorney Dan Dyce was convicted to life in Westmoor Prison for a crime committed by his double, Jacob Horn. After finding an escape route, Dyce broke out of prison, donned a slouch hat, cape, and domino mask, and fought crime as #711 (named after his prisoner number). This he did night after night, always returning to his cell by morning. Finally, #711 was killed in action during a police shootout. His death was avenged by fellow crimefighter Destiny.
